Turnip-inspired Holiday Ornaments

It’s funny really. I was working on a turnip recipe, then shooting fresh turnips, then some holiday ornaments with turnips, then I turned a turnip into an ornament by pushing an ornament hanger thing in the top…and it stayed. And the next day it was still holding. And the next day and the next day. So the turnip ornament was born and a turnip-inspired holiday was beautifully created.

Since I didn’t want the whole tree covered with real turnips, I hand painted a few plain white ball ornaments in an ombre of fuchsia and purple and glitter!
