If you have a roll of butcher paper or kraft paper on hand, you’ll never run out of handmade gift wrapping paper! Here are a few of my go to gift wrap favorites! 

1. Leopard Print Gift Wrap

A colorful leopard print painted on butcher paper. Watch how I made it here!

2. Cotton Candy Gift Wrap

Cotton Candy was the inspiration for this holiday scene, so cotton candy gift wrap was a must! (paper from Spoonflower)

3. Bird Dog and Pheasant Gift Wraps

Make it special and add your own ribbon made of quail feathers (I used a sewing machine to
sew quail feathers onto a length of grey satin ribbon) Quail and Vizsla printed  paper from spoonflower. 

4. Whole Hog Gift Wrap

I scanned the artwork from the case of my first cookbook, The Whole Hog Cookbook, and had it printed at my local
large format printer. 

5. Gingham Gift Wrap


Gingham wrapping paper in all the colors of the rainbow were the perfect look for this holiday tree! (paper from Spoonflower). 

6. Red Ribbon and Polk Dot Paper

I love a wreath…but not just any wreath. 
Here are a few of my favorites this holiday season! 

1. Thanks For the Gum Drop Wreath

What to do:
Step 1. Use toothpicks to affix colored gum drops in a fun pattern onto a styrofoam wreath form.
Step 2. Hang with a fun ribbon. 

2. Crazy Like a Fox Wreath

My dearest friend in the world, Sydney Kiefner, needlepointed this gorgeous wreath. I’m in awe of many many talents she has, but her needlepoint game is tops! I wish you could see the back it’s a beautiful green velvet…much like my shoes. I love you Sydney. 
What to do:
 Step 1. Have a friend who needlepoints make you a wreath. 

3. Pom Pom Wreath

What to do:
Step 1. Wrap a styrofoam wreath foam with yarn (I used white)

Step 2. Make pom poms (learn how to make a pom pom HERE) and affix to the wreath form with hot glue. 

Step 3. Glue on different colored pom poms!

I’ve been collecting milk glass bud vases for years. Let’s face it, every flower looks good in a white vase! Many years ago, I had to do a dinner party on the fly and needed a centerpiece and this magic happened. I’ve been using it ever since. So fast, simple and chic! Step one, remove flowers. Step two, replace flowers with ball ornaments! Boom!

Each year, I sew new Christmas stockings. It’s a labor of love, because I don’t love sewing. Actually, I don’t even like sewing…but I love Christmas stockings! I wish I could tell you I use a certain pattern, but I don’t. I just draw a new one each year and go for it. Showing you these is meant to inspire, I’ve included a good reference video at the end (because I love her accent)!
