We are always looking for fun and inexpensive things to make photo backdrops out of. When we needed a whimsical backdrop for a County Fair photo 3-dimensional clouds made from a stock pile of poster board we had in the studio was just the answer! Try this for a fun party backdrop, hanging over a dinner party table or decorate a kid’s room!
What You Need:
4 -6 pieces hard cardstock (we used poster board…it just depends on how big you want your clouds)
sharp scissors
1 marker
Fishing line
Masking tape
What To Do:
Fold a piece of cardstock in half and draw one side of a cloud. Cut along the cloud shape on both sides of your fold to create a complete cloud. Fold the rest of your card stock and trace and cut your cloud shape until you have 4-6 clouds with a fold in the middle.
Open one cloud and lay flat. Taking another cloud and (keeping it folded) tape along crease onto the cloud laying flat. Flip over and tape along the opposite side. Tape each cloud following this step.
Make a small hole between two pieces of your card stock, attach fishing line, and hang at desired level for a fun backdrop!
