Felt Ornaments

Ingredients:
1 piece of card stock
6 (4×4) felt squares
1 pair scissors
1 marker
1 skein of embroidery floss
1 small threading needle
an assortment of craft flare (sequins, mini pom poms, colored beads..)

What to do:
Step 01:
Trace or freehand a fun shape onto card stock (I made a simple round scalloped shape, but you could do anything that has an exact center).
Next, us scissors to cut out.
Pro tip:  The more complex the shape, the harder it is to cut out of fabric….trust me…make it simple!

Step 02:
Using a contrasting colored marker, trace your shape onto the felt, cut out and place aside. You’ll want to cut about 12-15 piece for one ornament.

Step 03:
Thread 12-15 inches of embroidery floss through your needle. Add some fun flair and knot off at one end.
Pro tip: You may need to make a few knots depending on the opening of your bottom flair!

Step 04:
Thread your needle though 3 to 5 felt shapes. Repeat steps 03 and 04 until satisfied.

Step 05:
Once satisfied with steps 03 and 04, add the last bit of flair and tie off. Create a loop at the top for easy tree adorning!
