Tabletop Tuesday: Breakfast Aboard

Sure, not everyone has a big beautiful sailboat at their breakfast disposal (this one was on loan from my husband’s boss). But the message I’m always preaching is the same. Think outside the dining room. Where else could you serve fresh bagels for breakfast? Why not just a nautical inspired striped blanket or beach towels in the back yard? Tell your guests to wear their favorite nautical inspired attire (this is the time they can pull out the cheesy captain’s hat they secretly own), have Christopher Cross playing in the background or the Jimmy Buffet Pandora station on. Take your guests to the islands in their minds. Just use your imagination and ALWAYS make good food…always.
