Balloon Dog Cake Topper

Twenty cake-toppers in 20 minutes! That’s what I said I would do for a demo at the Country Living Magazine Fair in Columbus, Ohio…so I did. The only glitch in the performance was when my assistant, Candace, handed me the balloon dog that I had tied earlier that morning…no longer tied!

Here’s the honest truth…I had just watched a youtube video the night before and learned to tie one. There’s no pressure in a hotel room watching a video on tying a balloon dog when you have all the time in the world. By the time I tied my 4th one, I had nailed it. Things are different when 200 people are watching. But guess what? It turned out perfect and only took me a little longer than the hotel room version. The wonderful giddy crowd loved it! This could possibly be the cutest cake topper EVER.
