Welcome Aboard!
Who really needs a table for Tabletop Tuesday when a repurposed airline beverage cart is available!
For this Bon Voyage Party, I carried the paper airplane theme from nose to tail and all in a fun Libbie Summers (me speaking in third person) way! Pink was the color of the sky and the color of the decor, food and drink! An ombre of pink paper airplanes served as a backdrop, pink macaroons were topped with Starburst candies molded to form planes, a flight attendant wearing pink wings and an Hermes pink twilly (me) was the host. But, the center of attention…an old United Airlines beverage cart that had been painted and festooned with every color of a pig imaginable that were shaped like those in my first book, The Whole Hog Cookbook. Leftover cups with primal cut charts in purple stamped on the sides were the perfect thing to drink cocktails made from miniature bottles. This party decor was fun and first class!
(4 different colors of pink paper were folded into paper airplanes and then taped onto white yarn)
(pink macaroons topped with edible paper airplanes molded from Starburst candies)
(The sweetest clothespin airplane craft for the kids and the adults to do! Learn how to make them HERE)
(so stinkin’ cute!)
(A fun chalkboard wall helped decorate the space!)
Buh Bye! Don’t forget your pink wings!
