Food-inspired Fashion Friday: Popcorn

The inspiration for this look was popcorn –but not a fluffy puffed popcorn kernel.
I was inspired by the dark center of a slightly “over popped” kernel and the smokey flavor that kisses the popcorn when it’s just a little too done. You know that flavor. It’s one of those good/bad surprises. So dark was in order. The bright lip? Who knows. The fact that I couldn’t catch a kernel of popcorn in my large mouth is a bigger surprise than any burnt kernel would ever be.
