I was asked to create a simple recipe to go on the coolest t-shirts for Sweet Peach Blog and Banner Butter (two of the coolest female entrepreneurs in the South) and featuring some of my favorite Southern things. It was easy. Bourbon, Butter and Peaches! I’m doing an instagram GIVEAWAY of one of the t-shirts too (the recipe is on the inside!). Head over to enter…after you make the recipe of course!
Butter and Bourbon Peaches
(Georgia peaches, spiced compound butter, bourbon + pecans)
Serves 4
What you need:
3 tablespoons Cinnamon, Cardamom and Ginger Banner Butter®
1 tablespoon bourbon
2 cups sliced Georgia Sweet Peaches, skin on
¼ teaspoon flake sea salt
¼ cup toasted pecan pieces
4 healthy scoops of vanilla ice cream
What to do:
1. Melt butter over low heat in a medium sauté pan.
2. Stir in bourbon and increase heat to medium.
3. Fold in peaches and cook for 3 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pecans.
4. Spoon warm over ice cream.
