Tabletop Tuesday: Powder Coated Flatware

In honor of the fast approaching Valentine’s Day, I’m dragging out some of my favorite flatware for a little appetizer party for two.
It’s powder coated a dreamy lilac purple and will perfectly compliment the eyes of my special guest.

Find a powder coater near you and make a friend. For flatware that you may want completely colored like forks and spoons, they’ll need to drill a little hole in the end so they can hang it, but I think it’s barely noticeable. The cost is around $2 per piece. Sure, you could spray paint it yourself, but I’ve never found the spray paint to have a professional look, not to mention the paint flakes off and it’s never a good thing for a guest to find a piece of fuchsia paint in his/her flank steak.
