When you realize all the colors in your salsa correspond with a Twister color and then you realize it’s Milton Bradley’s birthday….In my world you make a video and make a party!
Twister Salsa
(red, yellow, green and blue)
makes about 2 1/2 cups
Ingredients:
3/4 cup fresh cranberries
1/2 jalapeno, chopped
1 cup blueberries
1/2 cup finely diced yellow bell peppers
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
juice of 2 limes
Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
Tortilla Chips (preferably fresh fried corn chips)
Directions:
In the bowl of a food processor, add the cranberries and jalapeno. Pulse just a few times until a rough chop.
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the cranberry jalapeno mixture, blueberries, peppers, cilantro and lime. Salt and pepper to taste.
To Serve: How about using a twister “board” as your table cloth and have a party! Serve with chips alongside for dipping.
