I’ve been on a fast pitch softball team roster almost every year since I was 6 years old. Twice, when I couldn’t find an adult women’s fast pitch team, I tried slow pitch…I sucked and it sucked. #fastpitchforever

No, I don’t normally play softball with such a showy bat, but I’m obsessed with these hand painted bats from The Mitchell Bat Company. This night at practice I won the first ever “Best Looking Bat” award. Sadly, it didn’t come with a shiny trophy…just a lot of verbal abuse.

Who says you can’t put a tassel on your old-school stirrup socks?

Feel a need to play ball after dark? Do what I did and use some Glow-in-the-Dark paint (I used Martha Stewart’s brand) and give your softballs a little flower power!
