Sitting on a pile of summer tomatoes? This method of preserving involves no time at all…just some space in your freezer! You’ll thank me in November when you want to make a soup, stew or sauce with a fresh August flavor.
What to do:
1. Wash and dry tomatoes.
2. Place in labeled zip top bag and eliminate all the extra air.
3. Freeze.
4. Run under warm water to remove skin.
5. Chop and add to soups, stews and sauces.
