I’m celebrating my favorite shade of yellow (butter yellow) this week and starting off with a trick that has saved my life on many occasions. It’s magic and genius and butter…what else would someone need?
Directions:
1. Fill a drinking glass or glass jar that is just bigger than a stick of butter with super hot water.
2. Wait 1 minute.
3. Pour out the water and immediately place the glass or jar over the butter.
4. Wait 2-3 minutes (just depends on how cold your butter was. NOTE: this will not work with frozen butter) before removing the glass from the butter.
5. Boom! It’s magic! Spreadable butter.

Brilliant as always! Saves me from the microwave disaster!
Right!! It never works in the microwave! Give this a try. It doesn’t work with butter from the freezer, just from the fridge! Libbie
